Our first meeting takes off!

Our first meeting took place on Saturday 8th January 2011.

These are the points that were shared with the parents on the day:

1. Praying is the biblical duty of every parent.
2.  Habits are formed strongest when children are young, so we must pray against bad habits when they are still young.
3. Parents must not leave their spiritual responsibility to nurture and bring up their children in the fear of the Lord to other people.
4. Instruct them in the faith, set them a holy example, teach them, restrain them and guide them. Pray for them. Don't argue or fight in front of them.
5. No one else can pray for your children as you do.
6. Your omitting to pray for them will be perilous to them and to you. They need to be protected by the power of God. They need to be restrained, enlightened, controlled, purified and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Dear parents, let us pray for our children. They are helpless and needier than us. We shall be held accountable if we do not do what is right. May God bless you as you daily take the time to pray for your children and may God answer our prayers in Jesus Name, Amen.
